  1. Butter, Unrefined coconut oil, lard and tallow are very easy on the gall bladder because they are mostly composed of short- and medium-chain fatty acids, which do not require bile for digestion. If you are just beginning to add fats to your diet after many years of low fat foods, your best choice in the start with these fats.
